The Performance™ 17 unit comes equipped with a two-stage scroll compressor for even comfort throughout your home. Low-stage cooling a majority of the time delivers a more continuous flow of comfort during typical days. High-stage cooling maintains your indoor comfort as outdoor temperatures rise. Add a Carrier variable-speed furnace or fan/coil and an exclusive Infinity™ Control to achieve Ideal Humidity System® technology for even greater moisture control and comfort.

Limited Warranty
To the original owner, the Carrier® Performance™ two-stage air conditioner is covered by a 10-year parts limited warranty upon the timely registration of your new equipment.* Extended warranties may also be available which may include labor.

*Warranty period is five years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty restrictions are not allowed will automatically receive a 10-year parts warranty. See warranty certificate at carrier.com for complete details.

With a furnace or fan/coil which has a high efficiency blower motor, this unit can qualify for the Federal Energy Tax Credit.
