Charles W. Gundlach II, received his Completion of Apprenticeship certificate February 27, 1950. He became a stockholder in the Company in 1959 and was elected vice president of the Company upon his father's retirement in 1955. In 1957, he accompanied his father to the SMACNA convention in Chicago. This was the first of many SMACNA activities Charles was to become involved in. He served on the National Joint Apprentice & Training Committee for the sheet metal industry in 1968. Chuck was a committee member of the Sheet Metal Worker's Local 33 Joint Apprentice Training Program and served on that committee from 1963 to 1984. Chuck passed away in August of 1988.
